Behind the Business.
Nuovo Tea & Wellness was founded in 2011 by Omid Khamisi, a former jewelry businessman, who wanted to share his passion for fine teas and herbal healing tradition with as many people as possible! With his vision that many people enjoy the taste and health benefits of teas and herbs, Omid committed himself to bringing the best quality teas and herbs from around the world for his customers! Thus, Nuovo (an Italian word for ‘New’) Tea & Wellness was created to bring health, wellness, and enjoyment to the community.
Kathleen Pogue, MSN, RN, HNC, joined Omid in 2018, bringing a new wave of herbal and holistic healing focus to Nuovo Tea & Wellness. Kathleen's background as a Holistic Nurse Coach and yoga teacher, as well as her knowledge of how consumption of many teas and herbs can positively affect health, has allowed her to realize her passion for promoting health and wellness for the community.
